2nd Annual Youth Ice Fishing Derby

Take advantage of the cold weather and try your luck ice fishing. There will be on site registration beginning at Noon. From 12:10 - 12:50 pm there will be seminars to teach fishing strategies, conservation practices, how to use fishing tackle, augers and much more. The fishing derby will take place from 1:00-2:30 pm. The fishing derby is for youth 14 & under. Adult supervision is recommended for the derby. Participants are asked to provide their own pole and tackle. Bait will be provided. There will be a trophy presentation following the derby. This is a Free event! There will be free t-shirts for the first 50 participants, pizza, pop and hot cocoa will be served, while supplies last. Lil’ Fishermen’s Derby

Bring your rod and have fun trying to land a big one! The day will start with a fishing clinic. Then, put your skills to the test in the fishing derby with an awards presentation to follow. Adult supervision is recommended for the derby. After catching and releasing your big fish, don’t go home empty handed. Create a "fishy" arts and crafts project. The fishing derby is for youth 16 & under. This is a Free event!

3rd Annual Trout Fest

A great event for families to learn about trout and fly fishing! Youth will learn about casting, fly tying, entomology, conservation, float tubes, equipment demos, kayaks and much more! Fishing derby starts at 6:30 pm with an awards presentation to follow. Refreshments will be provided. Adult supervision is recommended for the event.
